Cranleigh CC has a thriving junior cricket section providing coaching and matches for all age groups from U6 through to U17.for both boys and girls.

The 2018 season is upon us and it’s only right that once we start thinking about the cricket season, it starts snowing!
The committee have been hard at work over the winter in preparation for the season and it’s time to launch the 2018 season. This year the club will be moving back to running one session starting at 6.30pm. Please update your details on Pitchero  to validate your re-registration.  When updating your information, you will also be prompted to indicate whether your child will be participating in the winter nets.

So please update your information when prompted and make payment as early as possible to secure your sons/daughters place. Kindly note that payment must be made after updating Pitchero, through the website using our secure GoCard facility -

Winter Nets
It’s been tough securing space in Cranleigh School Sports hall this winter and with many age groups having their first matches at end of April, we thought it was right to run our winter programme leading into the 1st Friday Night summer session. Winter nets this year will run for 6 weeks commencing on Thursday 22nd March until Thursday 26th April. Please indicate attendance when prompted to update your information. Winter nets and all coaching is included in your yearly subscription.

This year we will be reverting back to one big group session for all age groups 6.30-8pm. The committee felt whilst having two sessions aided coaching support it has impacted the most important element, the social part of the club. I hope you will support this change as it allows more time for parents to get back from work and families with brothers or sisters to stay around all evening.

As with every year the committee reviewed the subscription levels across the club and have decided on a minimal increase across the Seniors & Junior sections in 2018, to aid the club growth plans & pay the net loan repayment for the club. The new Subscription levels for 2018 will be –
Age Groups
Boys U8s – U15s
Girls U15s (U10 – U15)
Girls U11s (U6 - U9)
Boys U6s & U7s
Payments will only be possible through our website, using the secure GoCard payment option -
Any membership queries can be directed to Patricia Becker -

For each age group this year we are looking for parental help with admin to support the coaches with player availability / team selection & fixture confirmation. This is a very simple job and allows the coaches to focus fully on coaching the team at both Training and on a match day. So please, if you’re able to support contact your coach or me directly.

My final plea is for all parents/brothers/sisters to get involved in the Junior section as much as you can. The Junior section is the biggest and most important section of the club and we need your support in helping make it the envy of others in the country. We are always on the lookout for coaching help on a Friday in your Son / daughters age group, help behind the bar or catering help for the BBQ. So if you’re able to help out or know of anyone, please please get in contact or highlight this on your registration form. .
